He had been the Higher Education ambassador of Bhutan, Nepal, for two terms. He is an active member of various research committees of DST, DBT and NBHM. She serves as a Senior Correspondent, Anchor, and Bulletin Editor at Doordarshan News, where she has played a significant role since 2006. In addition to her media presence, she is an Associate Professor at Bharati Vidyapeeth’s BVICAM in New Delhi and a visiting faculty member at the University of Delhi’s Journalism Department. Dr. Bhatia holds a PhD and has authored notable research on women in Punjabi cinema. Her academic work reflects a profound engagement with gender studies and the impact of media.
